A Friend

A friend is someone you can trust
to keep a secret is just a must
not someone who runs and tells everyone
what you have told them they should tell none.
A friend is someone when you're in need
and if you can help them, do so indeed.
A friend is someone you can rely on at any time
or they can rely on you, that is a friend of mine.
I hate to be betrayed by a so called friend
I'll never be their friend again, that would be the end.
